A new offering on the site will be high-quality glicee prints. Previously only posters were available. The first offering will be a new painting of Paul's called "Motor City Burning." The painting features a portrait of blues great John Lee Hooker sitting atop a burning building. The image commemorates the Detroit riots of 1967 so powerfully retold in Hooker's recording of "The Motor City is Burning."
The prints are produced by Pirak Studios in Waterloo, ON. They photograph the artwork with a high-resolution imaging system and specialized lighting required to masterfully reproduce the painting. The image is then reproduced with their state-of-the-art archival giclee printer onto Hot Press Natural, Acid-free, fine art paper with a smooth 100% cotton base and natural white surface.
Another new feature coming to the site is a Merch section. The merchandise available will be all original designs for those of you who want to express your love of the blues.
